First Friday “Brains!” Fun…

If you are local to the Las Vegas area, why not head out to the FIRST FRIDAY STREET FAIR on October 1st, 2010 and join the “Zombie Art Walk”?! Just be sure to stop by HalloweenMart on 6230 S Decatur (between S-215 and Russell) first and get ALL your ZOMBIE goodies!! We’ve got makeup, costumes, latex, pre-made appliances, blood, body parts, wigs, etc. to make you the ZOMBIE OF YOUR DREAMS!

FIRST FRIDAY is located around the shops and galleries on charleston, the new galleries on Main Street to the spaces on Commerce St. Plus the art galleries and vintage shops in the cottages on Colorado!

So visit us here at HalloweenMart in Las Vegas, then ZOMBIE UP!!

PS: the “Brains” fun comment comes from the classic 80’s zombie flick: “Return of the Living Dead”!!

Countdown hath begun, quote the raven.

It’s my pleasure to announce that IT is almost here. Finally!

What am I talking about?

Why - only the BEST day of the entire year!

H A L L O W E E N ! ! ! !

The day your wildest dreams can come true…

The day to party all night…

The day that candy is a major food group…

and it’s the night HE came home!

(a reference from one of my favorite movies of all time…”Halloween”)

What will you be THIS year? Might I suggest a few things…?

Besides dressing in the ‘clothing’ of an era of the past, you could pick from classic characters too!

1940-1950 classics: Frankenstein or his Bride? Dracula? Wolfman? How ’bout the Phantom of the Opera? Maybe an Alien from the likes of the 1950’s classic movie, “Invaders from Mars“?

1960-1970 classics: Norman Bates from “Psycho“? A victim from ”The Birds“? How ’bout a zombie from “Night of the Living Dead”?

1980 classics: Now this is MY classic years for picking costumes: Jason Voorhees from “Friday the 13th”, Michael Myers from “Halloween”, Freddy Krueger from “A Nightmare on Elm Street” or Leatherface from “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” (which could also be part of the 1970’s but I add it here to keep with the list of TOP horror movie ICONS!) Many, many movie characters to choose from in this decade.

That would bring us into the 2000’s and then the sky really hits the limit. Fairytale, Witch, Pirate and Superheroes only scratch the surface. And we’re talking about kids and adults here!

No matter what you choose to be…

Here it comes…

Light the lights, get the candy, find the costumes….time to get ready!

We here at HalloweenMart [.com] are getting ready for the big day! All Hallows Eve, All Saints Eve or the better known Hallowe’en - no matter what you call it - it is coming!! Those of us who work here at Halloween Mart couldn’t be more excited and if you are reading this - safe bet you are excited too!!

Here in the retail store we are making some showroom changes to better prepare for all the new costumes/props/accessories coming in this year. Our rows are becoming longer, our racks are becoming taller and our “Graveyard” is getting a re-charge with levels and all! I like to think of it as a sort of ‘All-Hallows-Eve-Feng-Shui’ if you will.

We’re mixing up the energy in the store a bit to help create excitement for one of the best Halloween Season’s ever! It’s coming and I can just feel it!!

No matter if you shop online or in the store we can’t wait to assist you to become all you’ve ever wanted this HALLOWEEN!!

From Faries, Gangsters, Police, Pirates, Witches and Vampires to characters from “Charlie Brown“, “Mork and Mindy“, “H.R.
