This week it’s my pleasure to speak a little bit about one of the masters of horror, Clive Barker.  No doubt some of you reading this will already be cheering and rightly so!  However, for those of you who might not be on your feet yet - let me share with you briefly about who this horrifically talented man is…

Clive Barker is an English born author, film director and visual artist.  Most noted for writing and directing the film, “Hellraiser” in the 1980’s - spawning the legacy of “Pinhead” himself.  Other works include the classic horror films “Candyman”, “The Midnight Meat Train” and “Dread”.  In print his “Books of Blood” series still remains one of the most beloved horror series of genere fans.  He has also crossed over into the computer game field, giving us “Clive Barker’s Undying” and was also the voice of the character ‘Ambrose’.   Now this alternative horror genius is crossing the reality of celuloid into the real world of costumes by launching “The Dark Bazaar”.  In partnership with the company “Disguise” this new line of costumes will transform Barker’s visions into wearable art.  These visions of darkness are based on never before seen characters from the Master Mind of Horror himself!!  Watch for these to hit shelves in time for Halloween 2010!!  

Now I’m sure you are ALL on your feet!  This guy has given us more sleepless nights than the sandman!

I can’t wait to see his costume creations come to life…or um, maybe not ‘come to life’ but….um….can’t wait to see them get worn by people for Halloween!  There that’s much better…
